Lime Green Crochet Cardigan

This zesty lime green crochet cardigan for age 5 is ideal for summer. The stylish design pairs well with dresses or shorts. The back of the cardi dips to about 2”/5 cm below the waist and the front curves upwards to a unique button at the neck.

The pretty edging has tiny, curved scallops on the short sleeves which matches the front and back edges. This little cardigan has a lovely texture and drapes well at the back. The yarn used creates a soft and silky feel to touch.

This handmade designer cardi is simply adorable!

Cardigan measurements: chest 26”/66 cm, length from shoulder to dipped back 12.5”/32 cm, armhole depth from shoulder to underarm 6”/15 cm.

Yarn used: 100% macrofibre acrylic Women’s Institute Soft and Silky 4ply. The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK and they have their own yarn range.

Washing: Gentle machine wash 40c, dry flat on a towel. Do not tumble dry or iron. Suggest cardi is washed in a mesh or cotton laundry bag to avoid snagging on other items.

Mint Green Dress

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

This unique lightweight sleeveless dress is handmade and perfect for hot summer days. It’s made in a pastel mint green colour in a textured crepe fabric. Small flower sprigs in lemon and peach with green leaves are scattered across the fabric. The dress bodice is lined in the same fabric. Gentle gathers fall from the waist and there is a back zip. The round neck and armholes are finished with top stitching.

The relaxed fit dress could be worn with a T-shirt or blouse underneath for cooler days. It’s  ideal for holidays as it’s lightweight, doesn’t crease and is easy care (no ironing).

Dress measurements: Both chest & waist 28”/71 cm, length from shoulder 28”/71 cm

Fabric: Polyester crepe

Washing: Machine wash 30c, cool tumble dry or hang to dry. No need to iron.

Purple and Lime Sweater - on trend in 2026

A unique designer crochet sweater for girls age 9/10. Purple/violet and green are secondary colours on the colour wheel and this sweater’s colours certainly ‘pop’ and get attention! There is plenty of texture provided by the lime green ‘bobble’ stitch circling around the sweater yoke and the purple textured stitch for the rest of the garment.

The seamless sweater features a cute frill around the base and there is ribbing on the cuffs and neckline. The quality yarn used to make this sweater is anti-pilling and extremely soft, so it’s comfortable to wear.

Measurements of finished sweater: chest 30”/76 cm, length from shoulder to base of frill 17”/43 cm (i. e below the waist), sleeve length at underarm is 15.5”/ 39.5 cm.

Materials used: 100% premium anti-pilling acrylic yarn.

Washing: gentle machine wash 40c, tumble dry low/60.

Violet Girls Crocheted Sweater

‘Violet’ is a crochet designer sweater made in a lovely purple colour. It features a raised textured stitch pattern with long sleeves and ribbing at the cuffs and around the neck. The lower edging has a scalloped shell design.

In Tudor times in England purple was a colour for clothes that was only allowed for royalty or the very wealthy as it was a dye colour that was rare and difficult to obtain. The colour was derived from the mucus of a rare species of sea snail found in the eastern Mediterranean and off the Atlantic coast of Morocco. The dye was originally discovered by the ancient Phoenicians in the city of Tyre (modern day Lebanon, south of Beirut). The yarn used in this garment has a modern-day dye which has undergone testing for harmful chemicals and is an assurance of safety and non-toxicity (Oeko- Tex).

Sweater measures: chest 25”/63.5 cm, sleeve length from underarm 11”/28cm, length from shoulder 13”/33cm (approx. hip length).

Yarn used is Scheepjes Colour Crafter which is 100% acrylic and anti-pilling.

Washing: machine wash 40c, tumble dry low, do not iron.

Berries 3D Crocheted Dress

‘Berries’ is a unique 3D crochet designer dress for age 6/7 in a dark pink which features 3D crochet blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. These berries and leaves are sewn securely around the base of the dress in a random design. The dress has long sleeves with a rolled edging at the wrists. It fastens at the back neck with a blueberry button and loop and there is a pretty picot crochet trim around the neck.
This dress has a surprise!! Inside the front heart shaped pocket there’s a white crochet mouse peeping out from under strawberries and leaves. The mouse has a pink nose and ears plus some whiskers…. So cute! The mouse should be removed before the dress is washed.
 
There is also another surprise in the pocket – a hidden message!!
 
Any 6- or 7-year-old would love this unique dress and mouse!
