This gorgeous soft and cuddly girls cardigan is hand crocheted in a realistic lynx faux fur yarn. This luxurious cardigan does not shed any fibres, has a single faux leather button at the neck and is designed as a drop shoulder style.

Cardigan measures: chest 28”/71cm, sleeve length measured from underarm to wrist 11”/28cm, length from mid-shoulder to bottom edge 13½”/34.5cm, armhole depth is 5”/12.5cm.

Handmade in a 100% polyester yarn by Sirdar, it’s machine washable at 40c. Do not iron or tumble dry.

Ocean Waves Cardigan

A unique crochet designer cardigan in a lace wave pattern in sea colours. It’s mainly made in a bamboo/cotton yarn. The lightweight cardigan has a ruffled filet crochet edging on the short sleeves and lower border edging which creates a curled wave effect. The front edgings have little scallop shells.

This lightweight cardigan is mainly hand crocheted in a very soft bamboo/cotton mix yarn with an additional superwash treated soft wool yarn, so easy care for washing. Note – cardigan for age 2-3 has a button closure at the front.

Cardigan measures:

Ages 2-3     Chest 24”/ 61 cm  Length from shoulder seam to bottom edge 13”/ 33cm

Ages 4-5        “     26”/66 cm                       “                            “                 14”/ 35.5cm

Ages 6-7       “      28”/ 71 cm                      “                            “                  16”/ 40.5 cm

Main yarn: King Cole Bamboo Cotton - 48% bamboo, 52% cotton

Fingerless Gloves

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

New to Girls Accessories on the website! Two of my own designs for fingerless gloves (which are currently on trend for the winter) are handmade in a crochet lace pattern. Both gloves are for girls aged 6-8, one in a blue acrylic yarn and the other in a multi-coloured 75% wool yarn. Both can be popped in the washing machine at 40c. The gloves are £7 each, plus £3 P & P. Please contact me if you want to request another colour option.

Faux Fur Neck Warmer / Scarf

Designed and hand crocheted in a luxury ‘lynx’ faux fur yarn – it just pops over the head. The neck warmer feels light, cozy and very soft and strokable. The item is 100% polyester and is reversible. It can also be worn as a stylish shoulder wrap across the shoulders of a coat.The item is fully machine washable at 40c, but do not tumble dry or iron.

Age 7-8  Around the neck is 26”/66 cm, depth is 5.5”/14 cm

I’ve designed and made these girls crochet sweaters - Mia age 2-3 (top), Emma age 4-5 (middle) and Olivia age 6-7 (bottom). They are a fun design with bobbles on the front and a contrast colour on the wrists and gentle flared lower edge. The smallest size has handmade buttons on the shoulders to make it easy to slip over the child’s head. All are made with a luxury acrylic yarn which is machine washable. These unique casual sweaters would look great with jeans or leggings.

Sunhat  for ages 5 or 6  £6.99

Australian birds print fabric in 100% cotton makes a lovely colourful sunhat for ages 5 or 6. The hat is finished with a green bow at the back.

The hat brim is 3 ins , 8 cms wide and the head size is 21 ins, 53.5 cms.

The sun hat  is machine washable at 40 degrees C, iron on cotton setting.

Sail Away dress

‘Sail Away’ is a unique nautical style sleeveless cotton dress for age 6. The dress buttons all the way down the front and the lower half has soft pleats at the waist.  The top of the dress has thin blue and white vertical stripes and is lined in a cream fabric. The print design on the skirt features a handwritten script of a nautical ships log with sketches of sail boats, lighthouses, maps and marine life against a cream background. A lovely summer dress, ideal for holidays.

My latest dress is Amelie for age 6. A gorgeous chic party dress in an antique gold colour is in a creased satin fabric with lace panels of different widths stitched over the top. The dress has long sleeves and gentle pleats at the waist, a concealed zip and sash belt. The creased satin catches the light and the lace is a flower and leaf design. Any girl would be the ‘belle of the ball’ wearing this unique dress.

Ocean dress

Sunshine is on its way at last in England. Hooray! My latest unqiue design “Ocean” is a sundress for a 6 year old in lovely turquoise and ocean blues – ideal for holidays and the beach. The pinafore style dress has a full skirt and is made in a 100% pre washed and shrunk cotton print and a turquoise linen which adds texture. The sundress has an elasticated back waist silky polyester satin straps worn with a T-shirt, blouse or just on its own.

My latest limited edition 'Let's Party' designer dress is a stunning red jersey dress with long sleeves and double hanky hem for age 6 & 8. The dress is comfortable to wear , machine washable and comes with a separate decorative designer belt. The belt should be handwashed very gently if at all. This dress would look fab with my cream faux fur jacket.

I now have 3 Faux Fur jackets, for ages 3❷4,5❷6 and 7❷8. The fur is just SO SOFT, I wish we had "Touch screen" techniques on the internet which enabled you to really feel the jacket in the picture. Maybe that is technology for the future ;-D

TARTAN dress now for girls aged 5 as well as 6

Love this design, even though I say it myself, so much that I just had to make one for 5 year olds as well as the one for age 6.

Just right for the winter season is a tartan wool pinafore dress, separate red cotton jersey long-sleeved top and neck warmer. The scarlet red in the top picks out the red from the tartan fabric and the pinafore dress is lined in red cotton. The total outfit costs just 32.99. The Scots certainly know how to weave beautiful cosy tartans and tweeds in order to wrap up warm. This particular tartan used in my dress is not a clan pattern but is a modern wool weave.

The scarlet red in the top picks out the red from the tartan fabric and the pinafore dress is lined in red cotton. The total outfit costs just 32.99. The Scots certainly know how to weave beautiful cosy tartans and tweeds in order to wrap up warm. Some of my ancestors were handloom weavers in Scotland in the 17th century. This particular tartan used in my dress is not a clan pattern but is a modern wool weave. I will be shortly making the same tartan outfit to fit age 5, which I will announce when ready. Soon my husband and I will be bottling up our own white wine plus elderberry & blackberry, plum, ginger, rosehip and fig wines. There is something comforting and satisfying about making things yourself to enjoy with family & friends.
