Unique nautical style white dress comes with its own little jacket. The sleeveless dress is made in a crisp and sturdy cotton drill fabric and has a lined bodice. It has a round neck, thin white rope trim on the shoulders and a concealed zip at the back. The dress flares from the waist and there is a separate navy belt with silver coloured clasp. Also the dress is designed so that a detachable light blue sailor collar can be slotted through the trim at the shoulders to hold it in place. The dress is versatile as it is designed to be worn as either a plain white style or sailor dress style – the choice is yours! The edge to edge unlined jacket has elbow length sleeves, a round neck and sits on the waistline. The cotton fabric is a blue/grey colour with woven vertical stripes that look like ships rigging. This lovely summer outfit is made in 100% cotton. Look on the accessories page for a matching sailors knot bag that would complete the designer outfit.

The outfit is 100% cotton and the belt is elastic. The dress and jacket can be machine washed at 40c with light colours. Iron on hot. Belt is hand wash only.

Sail Away dress

‘Sail Away’ is a unique nautical style sleeveless cotton dress for age 6. The dress buttons all the way down the front and the lower half has soft pleats at the waist.  The top of the dress has thin blue and white vertical stripes and is lined in a cream fabric. The print design on the skirt features a handwritten script of a nautical ships log with sketches of sail boats, lighthouses, maps and marine life against a cream background. A lovely summer dress, ideal for holidays.

My latest handmade dress is ‘Set Sail’ for age 8 priced £28.99. It has a maritime theme and is made of 100% soft cotton fabric. The sleeveless dress has a square neck, lined bodice with soft gathers at the waist, side seam pockets and a concealed zip. The unusual fabric is a nautical design of handwritten ships log with sketches of sail boats, maps, lighthouses, starfish, seahorses, fish and seagulls against a cream background.
