Summer Cardigans

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

Although it’s Autumn here in England, I have some more summer knitwear that I have just designed and made. My customers and followers in warmer parts of the world (and that includes Singapore, Australia and the USA) may want to take a peak to see what I’ve been busy making.


The summer cardigans Hot Summer & Seaspray (both for age 2-3), Pebble Beach for age 4-5 and Sea Breeze for age 6-7 are made in a lovely lace crochet pattern. 

The first three cardis are made in a 100% slubbed cotton and are light and airy, drape well and are comfortable to wear. The Sea Breeze cardi is made from 50% bamboo & 50% cotton yarn which feels soft and luxurious. All have short sleeves, a real iridescent shell button and a designer touch of scallop shells on the lower edge. They are all machine washable.


All are unique pretty designs and are ideal for holidays and beachcombing! Also I will shortly be adding this pattern design to my Ravelry shop for those who wish to make the cardigans.

Growl dress

GROWL dress for age3  £31.99

This unique animal print dress is made from cuddle soft velour fabric. The long sleeves have a gold coloured hand embroidered trim. There are soft pleats falling from the waist and there is a cute little collar. In addition the dress has a concealed zip at the back.
The chic dress would be ideal for autumn/ winter. It is classy enough for a birthday party or other special occasion – no other little girl would be wearing the same dress!

Dress: Chest 24 ins, 61 cms. , Waist 24 ins 61 cms , Length from shoulder seam to hem of dress is 21 ins 53.5 cms, Length of sleeve from the top of the shoulder to wrist 13 ins 33 cms.

The dress fabric is velour which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The dress is machine washable at 40 degrees C, iron on warm on the reverse.

Prairie dress

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

My latest design is PRAIRIE, a chocolate brown jersey dress for age 8. It reminds me of travelling across the Canadian prairies before the wheat had emerged and the vastness of the earth and sky created an unbroken endless horizon. The dress has a hand embroidered appliqué folk art design on the front bodice with flounces and frills on the rest of the dress creating a feminine country style. There is a co-ordinating floral fabric on the long sleeves, flounce and frill edging to the buttonholes on the back bodice. The dress bodice is lined and has a round neckline. Flowers and chocolates – what every girl loves!

Bracken Jacket

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

With autumn / winter upon us we notice the beautiful changing colours of the season. ‘Bracken’ is a 100% wool girls jacket for age 8 @ £52.99, which can be found on the accessories page of the website. The fabric features the colours of russet brown autumn leaves and bracken, with thin lines of sky blue, fawn and black forming checks. The jacket has a flared peplum waist, long sleeves, a round neck and is fully lined. The leather trims on the jacket add a unique designer touch.
