This handmade crochet designer cardigan in a soft pink colour is warm due to the 70% wool content. The textured pattern features a small, scalloped edging around the neck and front edges and larger scallop shells along the bottom edging. There are no buttons on this cardigan.

Actual measurements of cardigan: around chest/ waist 25”/63.5 cms, length from shoulder to bottom edge 12.5”/31.5”, sleeve underarm length to wrist 9.5”/24 cms.

Yarn used is 70% Australian wool (soft & skin friendly) & 30% acrylic anti-pilling fibre.

Machine washable 40c but dry flat.

Pink Lace Bolero for Girls Aged 3

A handmade bolero for age 3. The unique crochet lace design in a soft pink yarn is very pretty. It has a scalloped edging around the neck and lower edge. The short sleeves are trimmed in a crochet picot stitch and the garment fastens with a handmade button made in the same yarn. The bolero dips down at the back to just below the waist.

Bolero measures: chest 25”/63.5cm around, side length from top of shoulder 9”/23 cm (i.e. to waist level), length from base of back neck 10”/25.5cm.

Yarn used: Red Heart Soft, 100% acrylic

Washing: Machine wash 40c, tumble dry on low heat, do not iron. Suggest bolero is placed in a net laundry bag or pillowcase to avoid the crochet lace snagging on other clothing.

Torshavn Tunic Sweater

A lovely cosy tunic sweater for age 7-8 is crocheted in several crochet textures and colours. The sweater is named after Torshavn, capital of the Faroe Islands which I visited in 2019. These unique islands situated between the Shetland Islands and Iceland in the north Atlantic, are well worth a visit.

The soft and cuddly sweater has ribbing around the neck and cuffs on the long sleeves and an unusual scalloped border along the lower edging. An ideal sweater to snuggle in for the winter and would look great worn with leggings or jeans.

The tunic measures: chest 28”/71 cm, length from shoulder to lower scalloped edging 22”/56 cm, length of sleeve from underarm 13.5”/34.5 cm

Washing: Machine wash 30c, low heat tumble dry, do not iron

This unique and pretty cotton tunic top features delicious icecream sundaes, cherries and polka dots. The tunic forms a point at both front and back and the red bodice has an invisible zip and hook and eye closure at the back. The short sleeves are also in the same icecream print. The red and white check and lace edging is pretty and a red satin ribbon ties at the back or front.

‘Lily’ is a pretty crochet jumper in pale pink and white stripes like sugar candy. The long-sleeved jumper is handmade in a textured acrylic yarn with a narrow frill edging around the neckline. There are three small white buttons that fasten on one shoulder for easy dressing.

Jumper measures: Chest 21”/ 53.5 cm, length from shoulder to lower edge 10.5”/ 26.5 cm, sleeve length at underarm 7.5”/19 cm.

Washing: Gentle machine wash 40c, do not iron or tumble dry.

Materials used: 98% soft acrylic/ 2% nylon Bernat Soft Boucle yarn (now discontinued in UK), 3 acrylic buttons.

‘Kirsten’ is a sleeveless pink dress which is handmade in a beautiful crochet lace pattern by Mon Petit Violon. It features a pretty frill at the lower edge and each shoulder strap is fastened with a cream flower shaped button. The dress is a loose fit due to the gathers at the top of the bodice. It is finished with a small pink bow on the front. Can be worn with a T-shirt or jumper underneath for colder weather.

Measurements of dress: Loose fit, chest 33”/ 84 cm due to gathers, length of dress from shoulder to lower edge of frill 19”/ 48 cm

Materials: yarn is 100% acrylic, Marriner DK

‘Jenny’ is a pretty candyfloss pink cardigan for age 1. Handmade in a lovely lacy crochet design, it has long sleeves and yoke in two different stitches. The cardi has a scalloped edging around the neck. There are 5 handmade crochet buttons down the front and the cardigan flares out with a peplum design.

Cardigan measures: chest 19”/48cm, length from shoulder to lower edge of peplum 10”/25.5, sleeve underarm length 8”/20.5cm.

Materials: Yarn used is Scheepjes Colour Crafter DK yan, 100% acrylic

Washing: machine washable @ 40c, do not iron, do not bleach, tumble dry on low

Note- item is handmade from a Mon Petit Violon pattern, but with changes to the stitch pattern on the sleeves, handmade buttons and it has a shorter length.

A romantic rose print sleeveless dress has the look and feel of linen, although it is made in cotton. The dress bodice has a pink lining, and the lower half of the dress has full gathers from the waist. There is an invisible zip at the back and the dress features a square neck at the front. The dress bodice is top-stitched and has an optional detachable large bow made in the same fabric. There is enough room in the bodice for a blouse or sweater to be worn underneath.

‘Yelda’ means winter solstice and this pink pinafore dress will add lightweight winter warmth. The dress is made from fine woven wool which is incredibly soft and smooth and drapes well from the bodice. The dress is fastened with four heart buttons on the shoulders, making it easy to pull over the head. The bodice is fully lined and is top stitched.
The cute little dress has a delightful braid trim on both the front and back bodice which features ice skating bears with blue and green bobble hats and fir trees. Some of the bears have slipped on the ice too – whoops-a-daisy….and their bobble hats have come off!
