This crochet designer jumper is handmade in a faded denim blue soft yarn. The cosy jumper would look good with jeans, leggings or a denim skirt or dress. It features a fisherman’s cable on the front of the jumper and ribbing on the neck, cuffs and lower edging.

The jumper measures: around the chest 25”/63.5cm (so plenty of room for a vest & long-sleeved T-shirt underneath), length from shoulder 14”/35.5cm, sleeve length at underarm 10”/25.5cm.

Yarn used: Lion Brand ‘Jeans’ which is 100% acrylic

Washing: No dye will come out of this garment. It can be machine washed @ 40c, tumble dry on low, do not iron. May be dry cleaned [P]

Dagna Crochet Sweater

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

Dagna is a female Norse name meaning ‘as beautiful as the day’. This handmade crochet sweater is hip length and has a beautiful texture of bobbles and lace stitches, with ribbed cuffs and neck. There is a gentle curved frill at the base of the sweater. The curved yoke features 4 rows of bobble stitches and the yarn is made in graduated soft pastel colours.

Sweater measures: chest 26”/66 cm around at underarm, waist 27”/68.5 cm, just above the frill is 28”/71 cm around, length from shoulder to bottom of frill 17.5”/44.5 cm, length of sleeve from underarm to cuff 10”/25.5 cm.

Materials used: ‘Giggles’ is a yarn made by Wendy, a company based in West Yorkshire, UK. Yarn is 100% acrylic.

Washing: Cool machine wash 30c, cool tumble dry. Ironing is not necessary. Suggest item is washed in a pillowcase or laundry bag to prevent snagging on other items.

Lily Sugar Candy Jumper

‘Lily’ is a pretty crochet jumper in pale pink and white stripes like sugar candy. The long-sleeved jumper is handmade in a textured acrylic yarn with a narrow frill edging around the neckline. There are three small white buttons that fasten on one shoulder for easy dressing.

Jumper measures: Chest 21”/ 53.5 cm, length from shoulder to lower edge 10.5”/ 26.5 cm, sleeve length at underarm 7.5”/19 cm.

Washing: Gentle machine wash 40c, do not iron or tumble dry.

Materials used: 98% soft acrylic/ 2% nylon Bernat Soft Boucle yarn (now discontinued in UK), 3 acrylic buttons.

Crocheted Jumpers / Cardigans

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses/ Anne Hellinger Designs

I’ve designed and made these girls crochet sweaters - Mia age 2-3 (top), Emma age 4-5 (middle) and Olivia age 6-7 (bottom). They are a fun design with bobbles on the front and a contrast colour on the wrists and gentle flared lower edge. The smallest size has handmade buttons on the shoulders to make it easy to slip over the child’s head. All are made with a luxury acrylic yarn which is machine washable. These unique casual sweaters would look great with jeans or leggings.
