My latest handmade dress is ‘Set Sail’ for age 8 priced £28.99. It has a maritime theme and is made of 100% soft cotton fabric. The sleeveless dress has a square neck, lined bodice with soft gathers at the waist, side seam pockets and a concealed zip. The unusual fabric is a nautical design of handwritten ships log with sketches of sail boats, maps, lighthouses, starfish, seahorses, fish and seagulls against a cream background. I now have 3 Faux Fur jackets, for ages 3❷4,5❷6 and 7❷8. The fur is just SO SOFT, I wish we had "Touch screen" techniques on the internet which enabled you to really feel the jacket in the picture. Maybe that is technology for the future ;-D

I just love this dress, its probably my all time favourite so far. I am so infliuenced by the right fashion designer s, Bill Blass being one of them.

William Ralph "Bill" Blass (June 22, 1922 – June 12, 2002) was an American fashion designer , born in Fort Wayne Indiana. He is known for his tailoring and his innovative combinations of textures and patterns. He is the recipient of many fashion awards, including seven Coty Awards and the Fashion Institute of Technology's Lifetime Achievement Award (1999)

I also love this one by Bill. I think he was a genius.

I have designed another stylish yellow sweatshirt dress but this one looks more like a suit! It is for little girls aged 7 and is ideal for autumn/ winter. The dress has a peplum feature at the waist which hits the 40s nostalgia trend and the colour yellow has also featured in the autumn/ winter fashion collections. This dress will certainly get noticed and is smart enough to wear to a party or family occasion.

I have been away from my dress making for a bit with a very busy September helping my son & his fiancee move to Singapore and my husband harvest his grapes for this years vintage.

Inspired by the 60s - My MELLOW YELLOW dress

Mellow Yellow autumn/ winter dress for age 8. This 60s A-line limited edition dress design is bang on trend for autumn & winter. The long sleeved shift dress is made from a yellow brushed sweatshirt fabric which is warm and cosy with a shocking pink colour pop on the neck and sleeves and back button neck opening. Yellow is a cheerful colour and teamed with hot pink it is very 60s. The slash neckline is a very unusual design.

You may have noticed the neo counter in various places on SerendipityGDDs online. This counts the number of unique visitors from a  country. ★ SO PROUD ★ just gone global/ viral ★ SerendipityGDDS won Theo Paphitis's Small Business Sunday (along with 5 others) yesterday (5/6/2011) ★ onwards and upwards to that 1st £Million ★

So how do you enter?
1. On Sunday evening i.e 'small business sunday' using twitter hastag #sbs and Theo's twitter name @theopaphitis between 5.30 & 7.30 pm sent theo a tweet (140 characters) with a great one-liner that sells your business to him
2. Using Theo's own advice from the SBS event in Birmingham - if you make your biz tweet stand out (quirky or whatever) and you must have a website as he checks , it doesn't have to be great but it has to be there and of course 'random - how theo feel on the night' probably plays a part as well, just don't give up. As it happens i was picked on my 3rd week of entering but i know folk whom it took 40+ weeks, just DON'T GIVE UP
3. Theo will chose 6 biz's a week he would like to 'give a helping hand to' by applying his name and he does this by rewteeting (RT) your tweet to his army of followers, what more could you want?
4. Usually that RT comes sunday eve but as Theo announced at the #SBS event (30/3/12) he is thinking of shifting that to Mon eve, just be patient, it will happen for you if you want it enough
5. Once he has RT'ed be prepared for you inbox top be inandated with congrats, msgs of goodwill and offers to rewrite your website, make your dresses or whatever... themn its up to you to decide... ITS ALL VERY HELPFUL AND FREE PROMOTION, enjoy being a member of the #sbs club
