Australian birds print fabric in 100% cotton makes a lovely colourful sunhat for ages 5 or 6. The hat is finished with a green bow at the back.

The hat brim is 3 ins , 8 cms wide and the head size is 21 ins, 53.5 cms.

The sun hat  is machine washable at 40 degrees C, iron on cotton setting.

Matilda dress by SerendipityGDDs

MATILDA dress for age 2  £25.99

This dress is a cute little cotton one with an unusual print design of Australian birds perched amongst the wattle. My inspiration was my love of these birds from trips to Australia we have had in both 2008 & 2013. The lorikeets were feeding from my hand at the Top Tourist site at Lake Maraboon near Emerald Queensland on 25/8/2008. See the picture.

The dress has short sleeves, a round neck and two buttons down the back. The soft 100% cotton fabric is ideal for summer. A unique dress that is simply adorable, just like the Aussie birds.

Set Sail dress

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

My latest handmade dress is ‘Set Sail’ for age 8 priced £28.99. It has a maritime theme and is made of 100% soft cotton fabric. The sleeveless dress has a square neck, lined bodice with soft gathers at the waist, side seam pockets and a concealed zip. The unusual fabric is a nautical design of handwritten ships log with sketches of sail boats, maps, lighthouses, starfish, seahorses, fish and seagulls against a cream background. New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

My latest limited edition design is an adorable soft and cuddly cream faux fur jacket. The jacket fits ages 7-8 but I plan to do some other sizes. It has a curved front hem at waist level. The lining is sugar plum pink. Faux fur is on trend for this autumn / winter and the jacket would make a lovely gift. Note you could wear this with any of my dresses or on its own.
