This hot pink luxury knee length dress is gorgeous! The Zarah dress is handmade in a lovely lacy and textured crochet using mainly sustainable bamboo fibre! The dress flares out from the textured yoke and is seamless. It’s very soft to touch and kind on the skin. The edging on the cap sleeves, the scooped round neck and lower edge feature a lovely crochet leaf design.

The textured lace pattern has tiny holes so is barely see-through. The dress is made from 60% bamboo fibre, 30% silk and 10% cashmere…. pure luxury!! The unique Zarah dress certainly stands out from the crowd and would be perfect for a birthday party, wedding or other special occasion. The dress has extra 2”/ 5 cm positive ease above the average chest size for age 2 and can be worn with a blouse or top underneath. Made in a pet free environment.

Dress measurements (age 2): chest 23”/58.5 cm, waist 25.5”/64.7 cm, length 18”/46 cm (knee length)

Washing: gentle handwash due to the silk and cashmere, may be dry cleaned P. Roll up the dress in a towel to remove most of the water. Dry the dress flat in the shade on a towel (do not tumble dry or put on a hanger)

Violet Girls Crocheted Sweater

‘Violet’ is a crochet designer sweater made in a lovely purple colour. It features a raised textured stitch pattern with long sleeves and ribbing at the cuffs and around the neck. The lower edging has a scalloped shell design.

In Tudor times in England purple was a colour for clothes that was only allowed for royalty or the very wealthy as it was a dye colour that was rare and difficult to obtain. The colour was derived from the mucus of a rare species of sea snail found in the eastern Mediterranean and off the Atlantic coast of Morocco. The dye was originally discovered by the ancient Phoenicians in the city of Tyre (modern day Lebanon, south of Beirut). The yarn used in this garment has a modern-day dye which has undergone testing for harmful chemicals and is an assurance of safety and non-toxicity (Oeko- Tex).

Sweater measures: chest 25”/63.5 cm, sleeve length from underarm 11”/28cm, length from shoulder 13”/33cm (approx. hip length).

Yarn used is Scheepjes Colour Crafter which is 100% acrylic and anti-pilling.

Washing: machine wash 40c, tumble dry low, do not iron.

Berries 3D Crocheted Dress

‘Berries’ is a unique 3D crochet designer dress for age 6/7 in a dark pink which features 3D crochet blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. These berries and leaves are sewn securely around the base of the dress in a random design. The dress has long sleeves with a rolled edging at the wrists. It fastens at the back neck with a blueberry button and loop and there is a pretty picot crochet trim around the neck.
This dress has a surprise!! Inside the front heart shaped pocket there’s a white crochet mouse peeping out from under strawberries and leaves. The mouse has a pink nose and ears plus some whiskers…. So cute! The mouse should be removed before the dress is washed.
 
There is also another surprise in the pocket – a hidden message!!

These white designer crochet cardigans have a large strawberry border along the lower edge and feature 2 separate rows of smaller berries circling the whole cardigan. These unique cardigans have a drop shoulder sleeve design with a crochet picot trim around the wrists. A large 3-D crochet strawberry and loop fastens at the front. A unique handmade cardigan design.

There are 3 sizes of the cardigan available:-

Washing: gentle machine wash at 30c in a mesh laundry bag with garment inside out to avoid snagging, don’t use fabric conditioner, dry flat on a towel, do not tumble dry.

A handmade bolero for age 3. The unique crochet lace design in a soft pink yarn is very pretty. It has a scalloped edging around the neck and lower edge. The short sleeves are trimmed in a crochet picot stitch and the garment fastens with a handmade button made in the same yarn. The bolero dips down at the back to just below the waist.

Bolero measures: chest 25”/63.5cm around, side length from top of shoulder 9”/23 cm (i.e. to waist level), length from base of back neck 10”/25.5cm.

Yarn used: Red Heart Soft, 100% acrylic

Inger Norse Wool Cardigan for Girls aged 1

Inger’ is a handmade designer crochet cardigan. Inger is an old Norse name meaning beautiful goddess. The cardi for age 1 is made in a 75% super wash wool yarn which is fully machine washable. It’s made in a multi-coloured Norwegian yarn which has a lovely ‘hygge’ or warm cosy feel which is ideal for autumn/winter.

The neckline is circled with deep purple leaves and the cardigan fastens with three purple buttons. The crochet stitch pattern creates a hand spun woven effect as the 4-ply wool is used double for extra warmth.

Cardigan finished measurements: Chest 22”/56 cms, length from shoulder to bottom edge is 11.5” /29 cms, sleeve length at underarm 8.5”/21.5 cms

New to Girls Accessories on the website! Two of my own designs for fingerless gloves (which are currently on trend for the winter) are handmade in a crochet lace pattern. Both gloves are for girls aged 6-8, one in a blue acrylic yarn and the other in a multi-coloured 75% wool yarn. Both can be popped in the washing machine at 40c. Summer Cardigans

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

Although it’s Autumn here in England, I have some more summer knitwear that I have just designed and made. My customers and followers in warmer parts of the world (and that includes Singapore, Australia and the USA) may want to take a peak to see what I’ve been busy making.


The summer cardigans Hot Summer & Seaspray (both for age 2-3), Pebble Beach for age 4-5 and Sea Breeze for age 6-7 are made in a lovely lace crochet pattern. 

The first three cardis are made in a 100% slubbed cotton and are light and airy, drape well and are comfortable to wear. The Sea Breeze cardi is made from 50% bamboo & 50% cotton yarn which feels soft and luxurious. All have short sleeves, a real iridescent shell button and a designer touch of scallop shells on the lower edge. They are all machine washable.


All are unique pretty designs and are ideal for holidays and beachcombing! Also I will shortly be adding this pattern design to my Ravelry shop for those who wish to make the cardigans.
