Berries Girls Cardigan

These white designer crochet cardigans have a large strawberry border along the lower edge and feature 2 separate rows of smaller berries circling the whole cardigan. These unique cardigans have a drop shoulder sleeve design with a crochet picot trim around the wrists. A large 3-D crochet strawberry and loop fastens at the front. A unique handmade cardigan design.

There are 3 sizes of the cardigan available:-

Age 5   £28 cardigan chest 28”/71 cm (to fit chest 24”/61cm), length from shoulder 12”/30.5cm

Age 7   £29 cardigan chest 30”/76cm (to fit chest 26.5”/67.5cm), length from shoulder 13.5”/34.5cm

Age 8   £30 cardigan chest 31”/79cm (to fit chest 27”/68.5cms), length from shoulder 15.25”/38.5cm

The cardigans are made with mixed fibers, mainly cotton: 53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen white yarn, the strawberries are 100% cotton, the green trim yarn is 60% silk, 30% wool, 10% cashmere.

Washing: gentle machine wash at 30c in a mesh laundry bag with garment inside out to avoid snagging, don’t use fabric conditioner, dry flat on a towel, do not tumble dry.

Torshavn Tunic Sweater

A lovely cosy tunic sweater for age 7-8 is crocheted in several crochet textures and colours. The sweater is named after Torshavn, capital of the Faroe Islands which I visited in 2019. These unique islands situated between the Shetland Islands and Iceland in the north Atlantic, are well worth a visit.

The soft and cuddly sweater has ribbing around the neck and cuffs on the long sleeves and an unusual scalloped border along the lower edging. An ideal sweater to snuggle in for the winter and would look great worn with leggings or jeans.

The tunic measures: chest 28”/71 cm, length from shoulder to lower scalloped edging 22”/56 cm, length of sleeve from underarm 13.5”/34.5 cm

Washing: Machine wash 30c, low heat tumble dry, do not iron

This girl’s designer tunic top is hand crocheted in a pretty mixed pastel coloured yarn. The crinkle yarn feels very soft and the pattern is a textured subtle rib effect. The tunic has dropped shoulders with short sleeves and a relaxed open neckline. It has a feminine flounce around the base and would be ideal to wear with shorts, jeans or leggings.

This casual tunic is ideal to pack for spring/summer holidays as it adds some warmth to counteract breezes and does not require ironing which is a plus!! The pastel coloured variegated yarn is pink, peach, green, yellow, white and beige.

Fingerless Gloves

New to Girls Accessories on the website! Two of my own designs for fingerless gloves (which are currently on trend for the winter) are handmade in a crochet lace pattern. Both gloves are for girls aged 6-8, one in a blue acrylic yarn and the other in a multi-coloured 75% wool yarn. Both can be popped in the washing machine at 40c. Designed and hand crocheted in a luxury ‘lynx’ faux fur yarn – it just pops over the head. The neck warmer feels light, cozy and very soft and strokable. The item is 100% polyester and is reversible. It can also be worn as a stylish shoulder wrap across the shoulders of a coat.The item is fully machine washable at 40c, but do not tumble dry or iron.

I’ve designed and made these girls crochet sweaters - Mia age 2-3 (top), Emma age 4-5 (middle) and Olivia age 6-7 (bottom). They are a fun design with bobbles on the front and a contrast colour on the wrists and gentle flared lower edge. The smallest size has handmade buttons on the shoulders to make it easy to slip over the child’s head. All are made with a luxury acrylic yarn which is machine washable. These unique casual sweaters would look great with jeans or leggings.

Red Tulips dress & jacket

RED TULIPS dress & jacket for age 7  £44.99

This chic and stylish sleeveless summer dress with matching jacket is a stunning red tulip print fabric. The cotton dress has an unusual curved front neckline, a concealed zip at the back and the top half of the dress is lined in plain red cotton. As the dress is A-line in shape, it is comfortable to wear as there is plenty of room at the chest and waist.

The matching jacket is fully lined in red cotton. It has a curved hem at the front which sits at waist level and a round neckline which fastens with a handmade button. There are elbow length sleeves which can be turned up as cuffs to show the red lining.

The designer dress and jacket would be ideal for a spring or summer wedding or other family celebration. The jacket would also look good worn with a simple white dress or trousers.

This delightful sleeveless cotton dress makes you smile!. The quirky fabric design has hens and little bows tumbling across a cream background of thin vertical gold stripes. The unique dress has a lined bodice with sweetheart neck at the front and a back zip. The frill around the hem has horizontal stripes for contrast. Ideal for hot summer days.

I now have 3 Faux Fur jackets, for ages 3❷4,5❷6 and 7❷8. The fur is just SO SOFT, I wish we had "Touch screen" techniques on the internet which enabled you to really feel the jacket in the picture. Maybe that is technology for the future ;-D
