New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

Not of our own making but on 7th December 2021 Yell who now own Moonfruit where our lovely website had been happily running since  2010 decided that they would "plug the plug" on that organisation and migrate all of your Moonfruit websites to WIX for future editing / updating. This was to say the least not the "smoothest" migration in history what with dumping all SHOP products and BLOG entries and making links to Facebook & Instagram shops redundant the rest of what was migrated was not to put too fine a point on it RUBBISH! Not worth the paper it was written on

So your editor in chief was not a happy bunny! Thanks a lot Yell NOT!!!!

Anyhow having to bite the bullet we set about redesigning and recreating the lovely SERENDIPITY GIRLS DESIGNER DRESSES (SerendipityGDDs) new website / shop.

Using HTML5 technology my new SHOP of all my dresses and accessories is now available to use on your tablet or smart phone. My main site uses flash and is therefore not that friendly on mobile devices but the shop is and means you can simply view and purchases my little girls dresses.

I think this is so clever

Via Moonfruit's new retail functionality for SHOP creation I have been able to link one of my feeder websites which has a SHOP on it directly to my Facebook business page @Serendipitygdds.

So as I add new dresses or accessories to my Dresses for Girls website shop they automatically appear in the Facebook shop, which has great graphic views and paypal or credit card sales and shipping options included.

Have a look, I think this is a great feature to aid WAHP (work at home parent) and crafters making handmade products.

I have set up a new ETSY shop mostly for the US market but clearly not exclusively. The prices have to be in US$ which means with the fluctuating currency exchange they may be slightly more or less expensive than directly from the website. You may do well before making a purchase to just check both.

I am very pleased with my new ETSY shop and hope to meet many like-minded 'crafters' through it. I have already seen many great little dresses to stimulate my little grey design-cells as Mr Poirot would say.
