The fabric has a navy background and features the traditional Swedish Dala horse toy. The toys are carved and hand painted in Nusnas, a small village in Sweden. The dress has dungaree clips on adjustable shoulder straps and metal antique style buttons securely sewn on. There is a side pocket and the bodice and straps are lined in the same fabric and top-stitched for strength.

This girl’s designer tunic top is hand crocheted in a pretty mixed pastel coloured yarn which feels very soft. The unique design has short sleeves, a relaxed open neckline, drop shoulders and a feminine flounce around the base.
This casual tunic is ideal to pack for spring/summer holidays as it adds some warmth to counteract breezes and does not require ironing which is a plus!! The pastel coloured variegated yarn is pink, green, yellow, white and beige.
This summery girl’s lemon colour sundress has large bows that tie on the shoulders and has soft gathers at the front and back of the dress.
The dress is made from a textured crepe fabric and can be worn with a T-shirt or blouse underneath for cooler weather. The fabric washes well and can be shaken and placed on a hanger to dry with no ironing! Ideal for packing for holidays.

This adorable summer dress features lots of cute dogs
sniffing flowers and saying hello to each other. The lovely cotton fabric has a soft yellow
background and apart from the dogs there are buzzing bees, butterflies,
ladybirds and snails. The sleeveless dress has a fully lined curved yoke and back
zip. A unique dress.
My latest handmade dress is ‘Jessica’ for age 3 priced
£19.99. It’s a cute little blue denim pinafore dress with red heart buttons
fastening on the shoulders. It has a gorgeous little frill on the hem and on
the front bodice in a red and white spot fabric with small cherries randomly
placed. The front of the dress has gentle gathers falling from the bodice,
which is fully lined in a pretty fabric. The back has soft pleats under the
bodice and has ties attached in the same red and white fabric. The dress is
machine washable at 40c and is 100% cotton. The dress crosses the seasons as it
can be worn with a T-shirt in the summer or a jumper and leggings when it’s
colder.You may have noticed that there
has been a gap in my blogs. I have just returned from a long trip with my
husband in the southern hemisphere (where I also picked up some lovely fabrics
on the way) and also visited Malaysia & Singapore. It was a special trip as
my youngest son got married and we officially welcomed a lovely daughter-in-law
into the family. Now all the excitement is over I am back on track designing
and making lovely girls dresses.

A lovely deep turquoise colour with an unusual hand printed
Japanese silky feel fabric on the bodice. The turquoise cotton sleeves and
gathered skirt have scalloped hems like gentle waves. The elbow length sleeves
can be turned up so that the wavy edge forms cuffs.
The dress has French seams, a round neck with ties and a
small bow at the front. You can almost hear the gentle waves lapping on the
edge of the lagoon! Ideal for summer for those living in the southern
hemisphere or add tights and a cosy cardigan to add warmth for the autumn in
the northern hemisphere.
Chest 25 ins, 63.5 cms, Length from shoulder seam to skirt
hem is 23.5 ins 60 cms.Sleeve length from shoulder 9 ins, 23 cms.Waist is below the line of the gathers on the skirt.
The fabric. Bodice is 100% acetate crepe, rest of dress is 100%
cotton.
Washing. Hand wash separately in warm water due to hand
printed bodice, warm iron.

I have just completed my final version of the music dress which again is a slightly different design, to fit your little girls aged 4. I think that the pink ribbon belt and flower trim make the dress very girly and the flounces also add a feminine touch.
