A handmade bolero for age 3. The unique crochet lace design in a soft pink yarn is very pretty. It has a scalloped edging around the neck and lower edge. The short sleeves are trimmed in a crochet picot stitch and the garment fastens with a handmade button made in the same yarn. The bolero dips down at the back to just below the waist.

Bolero measures: chest 25”/63.5cm around, side length from top of shoulder 9”/23 cm (i.e. to waist level), length from base of back neck 10”/25.5cm.

Yarn used: Red Heart Soft, 100% acrylic

Washing: Machine wash 40c, tumble dry on low heat, do not iron. Suggest bolero is placed in a net laundry bag or pillowcase to avoid the crochet lace snagging on other clothing.

Sea Shanty Denim Jumper

This crochet designer jumper is handmade in a faded denim blue soft yarn. The cosy jumper would look good with jeans, leggings or a denim skirt or dress. It features a fisherman’s cable on the front of the jumper and ribbing on the neck, cuffs and lower edging.

The jumper measures: around the chest 25”/63.5cm (so plenty of room for a vest & long-sleeved T-shirt underneath), length from shoulder 14”/35.5cm, sleeve length at underarm 10”/25.5cm.

Yarn used: Lion Brand ‘Jeans’ which is 100% acrylic

Washing: No dye will come out of this garment. It can be machine washed @ 40c, tumble dry on low, do not iron. May be dry cleaned [P]

Torshavn Tunic Sweater

A lovely cosy tunic sweater for age 7-8 is crocheted in several crochet textures and colours. The sweater is named after Torshavn, capital of the Faroe Islands which I visited in 2019. These unique islands situated between the Shetland Islands and Iceland in the north Atlantic, are well worth a visit.

The soft and cuddly sweater has ribbing around the neck and cuffs on the long sleeves and an unusual scalloped border along the lower edging. An ideal sweater to snuggle in for the winter and would look great worn with leggings or jeans.

The tunic measures: chest 28”/71 cm, length from shoulder to lower scalloped edging 22”/56 cm, length of sleeve from underarm 13.5”/34.5 cm

Washing: Machine wash 30c, low heat tumble dry, do not iron

A beautiful cream crochet lace jacket, ideal for a flower girl or for any special occasion. Handmade in a lovely crochet lace design, this designer jacket has long sleeves and a narrow scallop edging around the neck. The jacket has crochet ties at the front and there are scallops around the base. The sleeves have a textured pattern in contrast to the front/back, with a picot trim at the wrist.

The jacket measures 30”/76cm around the chest, length from shoulder is 16”/40.5 cm and the underarm sleeve length is 13.5” /34 cm.

The jacket is made from a soft 100% acrylic baby aran yarn, so feels soft to the touch.

Washing: machine washable 30c, cool tumble dry. Do not iron. May dry clean. Suggest item is place in a mesh laundry bag when machine washing to avoid snagging on other items.

This unique designer sweater is called ‘Spice’ because the colour is paprika! Crocheted in a lovely textured pattern, it features two buttons fastening on each shoulder to make pulling it over the head less fraught!

The sweater has dropped shoulder sleeves and unusual rolled edgings to the neck, cuffs and lower edge. The eco yarn is 50% bamboo viscose/50% cotton and feels soft to the touch.

Sweater measures: chest 22”/56 cm around, length from shoulder to base 12.5”/32cm, sleeve at underarm 8.5”/21.5 cm.

Washing: Machine wash 30c, do not iron or tumble dry

The sweater is made with King Cole Bamboo Cotton DK yarn (company based in Silsden, UK) and has 4 plastic buttons securely attached
