This designer crochet cardigan for age 6 is handmade in a cream bamboo & cotton yarn, which feels soft and silky to touch. It has a lovely textured crochet stitch pattern and is ideal for summer. The cardi has short sleeves on drop shoulders and a V neck with a single shell button to fasten. There are shell design edgings on the sleeves and neckline and the lower edge features larger scallop shells.

Cardigan finished measurements: Chest 28”/71 cm, length from shoulder to lower edge 15.5”/39.5 cm, sleeve length from underarm 5”/12.5 cm.

Yarn used is 50% bamboo viscose & 50% cotton

Washing: Machine wash 30c, do not tumble dry.

This beautiful and unique designer crochet cardigan is handmade in a lovely eyelet lace pattern for the main body with a different stitch pattern for the long sleeves. It has a soft curved collar and single button fastening. There is a pretty picot edging around the collar, front edging and cuffs. The lower cardi edging features an attractive lace scalloped border. 

Cardigan finished measurements: Chest 24”/61cm, length from shoulder to lower edge 13”/33cm, sleeve length from underarm 8.5”/21.5 cm.

Yarn used is 80% acrylic & 20% nylon

Washing: Machine wash 40c (minimum wash), short spin & do not wring if handwashing. Do not tumble dry.

Cotton & Linen Cream Cardigan for ages 8 or 9

A pretty and unique cream summer cardigan. Designed and handmade in a textured crochet stitch pattern in a cotton, linen and viscose yarn. The cardi has short sleeves, a real shell button at the v-neck and scallops around the edges. Ideal for beachcombing and would look nice with a summer dress.

Cardigan finished measurements: Chest 30”/76cm, short sleeve length along underarm 6”/15cm, length from shoulder seam to base of lower scallop edging 16.5”/42cm.

The cardi is made from a Norwegian yarn which is 53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen.

Machine or handwash 30c in a mesh/net laundry bag to avoid zips or buttons catching on the cardigan, do not tumble dry but lay cardi flat on a towel, do not iron.

Daisy Designer Embroidered Pink Cardi for Girls aged 8 or 9

‘Daisy’ is a pink designer cardigan which features pretty flowers and leaves hand embroidered on the yoke, which adds a romantic folk look. The one-off design is hand crocheted in a super soft textured stitch pattern and is comfortable to wear.

The cardi is hip length and fastens with three glass buttons on the yoke. The lower edge has a deep scallop wave pattern and there is a narrow shell edging around the neck. This unusual design cardi would look lovely for a special occasion or to wear with a party dress.

The cardigan measures: Around the chest 31”/79cm, length from middle of shoulder  to lower edge 15.5”/ 39.5cm, length of sleeve from underarm to wrist 14.5”/37cm.

Pink Yelda Winter Pinafore Dress for Girls aged 2

‘Yelda’ means winter solstice and this pink pinafore dress will add lightweight winter warmth. The dress is made from fine woven wool which is incredibly soft and smooth and drapes well from the bodice. The dress is fastened with four heart buttons on the shoulders, making it easy to pull over the head. The bodice is fully lined and is top stitched.
The cute little dress has a delightful braid trim on both the front and back bodice which features ice skating bears with blue and green bobble hats and fir trees. Some of the bears have slipped on the ice too – whoops-a-daisy….and their bobble hats have come off!

New from Serendipity Girls Designer Dresses

Not of our own making but on 7th December 2021 Yell who now own Moonfruit where our lovely website had been happily running since  2010 decided that they would "plug the plug" on that organisation and migrate all of your Moonfruit websites to WIX for future editing / updating. This was to say the least not the "smoothest" migration in history what with dumping all SHOP products and BLOG entries and making links to Facebook & Instagram shops redundant the rest of what was migrated was not to put too fine a point on it RUBBISH! Not worth the paper it was written on

So your editor in chief was not a happy bunny! Thanks a lot Yell NOT!!!!

This unique hand crocheted neck warmer scarf is made in a variegated colour yarn in red, purple, orange and pink. There is a decorative crochet border of curved scallops along one edge only. The item is very lightweight and warm and features a lovely lace pattern.

The cosy Norwegian yarn (Drops Fabel) is 75% wool/25% polyamide.

Measurements of item: 24”/61cm circumference, 15”/38cm deep to allow for folds as shown in photo.

The neck warmer is fully machine washable at 40c due to the superwash wool used. Dry flat, do not tumble dry.
